Finnish stainless steel maker's India plans

Finland-based stainless steel producer Outokumpu, which has recently opened its sales office in India, on Sunday said it plans to focus on architecture, building and construction (AB&C) and pulp and paper industry.

NEW DELHI: Finland-based stainless steel producer Outokumpu, which has recently opened its sales office in India, on Sunday said it plans to focus on architecture, building and construction (AB&C) and pulp and paper industry. both emerging market segments in India.

In a press release, the company said that it would focus on architecture, building and construction and also plans to set up a service centre in Western India for stainless steel manufacturers.

The company has a long-term partnerships with world's leading suppliers to the pulp and paper making businesses.

Outokumpu is leading global stainless steel producer having a turnover of five billion Euro (Rs 35,000 crore approx). It specialises in manufacture of stainless steel for infrastructure, chemical, transport , food processing, and construction industries.
