Essar gets HC nod for merging 2 cos with itself
Essar Steel Ltd has said its has got the Gujarat High Court's approval for merging Hy-Grade Pellets Ltd and Steel Corporation of Gujarat Ltd with itself.

MUMBAI: Essar Steel Ltd has said its has got the Gujarat High Court's approval for merging Hy-Grade Pellets Ltd and Steel Corporation of Gujarat Ltd with itself.
The Gujarat High court approved the scheme of amalgamation of the two companies with Essar Steel on June 17, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The court also approved the scheme of reconstruction of capital of the company, Essar Steel informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The shares of the company were trading at Rs 35.60, up 3.6 per cent at the BSE.
