Creativity of employees earns rich dividends for RSP

During 2010-2011, 6872 awards were given which was said to be the highest since the inception of the Srujani creative scheme. The awards consist of cash, certificate of appreciation and token gift for each accepted suggestion.
The total one-time savings on account of implementation of the suggestions was to the tune of Rs 6.97 crore of which recurring savings was about Rs 3.49 crores per annum, the sources said.
The employees of the RSP have always used their creative prowess to improve the systems and procedures and thereby helping the plant accure both tangible as well as intangible benefits.
To tap the potential of the employees and motivate them to find out ways and means to effect improvement not just in production and productivity but also in other important areas like maintenance, safety, house-keeping and cost reduction for which the plant had been executing the Srujani creativity scheme.
