Anti-dumping duty to be imposed on cold rolled flat stainless steel

Major multinationals like Arcelor Mitttal, Posco, Samsung, LG, Acrinox, Columbus to be affected.

Imports from the US, Japan, South Korea, China, European Union, Taiwan, South Africa and Thailand to be costlier once the duty is notified

Duty levels range from$2011 per tonne in the case of Taiwan, $1590 per tonne in the case of China, $1553 for EU, $1338 for Japan and $96 in the case of South Korea���s Posco.

The Directorate General of Anti-Dumping & Allied Duties has recommended imposition to duties to Department of Revenue
