Madhucon Projects gets Rs 422 crore order

Madhucon Projects today said it has received a Rs 422 crore EPC order from Bharat Coking Coal. The order is for "hiring of HEMN.

NEW DELHI: Madhucon Projects today said it has received a Rs 422 crore EPC order from Bharat Coking Coal. The order is for "hiring of HEMN including surface miner for removal of OB, extraction and transportation of coal from Patch 'A' and Patch 'B' of Phularitand Colliery OC of Barora area at a cost of Rs 422.06 crore", Madhucon said in a filing to the BSE.

The work would be completed in 84 months from the date of acceptance, it added.

The Hyderabad-based company said it has Rs 6,500 crore order book in various sectors including road, irrigation, power and mining sectors and has been pre-qualified for EPC works of overs Rs 20,000 crore in various areas.

The shares of the company today closed at Rs 49 apiece, up 1.11 per cent over the previous closing.
