Sejal Architecural sets up first Indian float glass plant

Sejal Architectural Glass is setting up a float glass plant with a production capacity of 550 tonne per day at Jhagadia in the state of Gujarat at an estimated cost of Rs. 478 crore.

MUMBAI: Sejal Architectural Glass is setting up a float glass plant with a production capacity of 550 tonne per day at Jhagadia in the state of Gujarat at an estimated cost of Rs. 478 crore.

The company has tied up with various bankers to raise Rs.318 crore term loan while it has already raised Rs. 105 crore through its IPO.

Promoters have contributed Rs. 40 crore and there is an unsecured loan of Rs.15 crore taken by the company. The plant is expected to be operational from April 2009.
