New Delhi, Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Ltd will invest Rs 280 crore to expand its Bahadurgarh manufacturing facility in Haryana, according to a company statement.

The company is doubling the plant's production capacity from 300 tonne per day to 600 tonne per day within the next 60 to 90 days, Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Ltd (HNGIL) said.

The investment comprises Rs 180 crore in capital expenditure and Rs 100 crore in operating expenditure over the next three years.


"Our decision to invest Rs 280 crore in Bahadurgarh and double the plant's capacity within 60 to 90 days reflects our confidence in Haryana as a manufacturing destination and our commitment to creating jobs and supporting the state's economic growth," HNGIL Chairman Shrai Madhvani said.

Spread across around 50 acres, the Bahadurgarh plant is one of HNGIL's key manufacturing sites in North India. The company has a total of seven manufacturing plants across India, located at Rishra near Kolkata, Rishikesh, Neemrana, Naidupeta, Nashik and Puducherry, the statement said.
