HNG plans Rs 1,200-cr manufacturing hub

Hindustan National Glass (HNG) on Tuesday said it will invest around Rs 1,200 crore for setting up an integrated glass manufacturing hub in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, in three to four years.

NEW DELHI: Hindustan National Glass (HNG) on Tuesday said it will invest around Rs 1,200 crore for setting up an integrated glass manufacturing hub in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, in three to four years. “We are setting up an integrated glass manufacturing hub in Nellore consisting of three production lines and the total investment in the project would be around Rs 1,200 crore,” HNG senior vice-president Vinay Saran said.

He said the company is planning to set up three production lines in the proposed hub — one for producing container glasses and two for manufacturing floating glasses. The company has already signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government.
