Greenply Ind to acquire Singapore Co

MUMBAI: Leading plywood manufacturer Greenply Industries Ltd has said it will acquire Singapore-based GIL International Pte Ltd as a wholly owned subsidiary.

The board approved the acquisition proposal at its meeting held on Friday, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

A proposal to enhance production capacity at the company's laminate unit in Behror, Rajasthan by 33 per cent or to set up a new unit of laminate, was also considered at the meeting, the company added.
