DuPont launches Customer Technical Centre in Mumbai

DuPont India today announced the launch of its Customer Technical Centre (CTC) here in partnership with the SIES School of Packaging.

MUMBAI: DuPont India today announced the launch of its Customer Technical Centre (CTC) here in partnership with the SIES School of Packaging.

The DuPont CTC has installed state-of-the-art laboratories and innovative processing equipment that will offer flexographic printing technology and training to OEM customers and industrial partners in the domestic printing and packaging industry, a company release said here.

The facility will provide training, education and counsel to customers in the print-packaging industry and demonstrate the efficacy of DuPont Cyrel printing solutions.

It will also offer test and qualification facilities and provide services for equipment handling and plate-making. In addition, DuPont CTC will enable the students of SIES to enhance their learning of the latest printing technologies and help study the cause and effect of plate-making parameters, the release said.

DuPont India president and CEO Balvinder S Kalsi said "DuPont strives to bring the latest technology and sustainable solutions-based on our science, which will help customers in adding value to their businesses".

With this retail boom and growing consumer spends, packaging is a key growth segment for us in the country."

The company has three other CTCs in the Asia-Pacific region at China, Malaysia and Japan.
