JK Paper starts commercial production at Gujarat plant
JK Paper Limited on Saturday said it has started the commercial production at its new multilayer packaging board plant at Fort Songadh in Gujarat.

NEW DELHI: JK Paper Limited on Saturday said it has started the commercial production at its new multilayer packaging board plant at Fort Songadh in Gujarat.
The new plant has a capacity of 60,000 tpa and will generate revenue of Rs 300-350 crore annually at full productivity, the company said in a statement.
"With buoyancy in the manufacturing sector, demand for packaging boards is on the increase. The growth of organised retail is pushing up the demand for packaged goods and consequently for packaging board," JK Paper Limited Managing Director Harsh Pati Singhania said.
JK Paper has already done initial market seeding, customer contact programmes and has set up a good distribution network and initial response from customers has been highly encouraging, the statement added.
