Courier firm Blue Dart Express Ltd plans to invest Rs 350 crore on expansion plans in south India over the next three to five years, a senior company official said on Wednesday.

BANGALORE: Courier firm Blue Dart Express Ltd plans to invest Rs 350 crore on expansion plans in south India over the next three to five years, a senior company official said on Wednesday.
The company's Managing Director Anil Khanna told a news conference here that the investment would be made for strengthening air and ground infrastructure as well as facilities.
"The south represents an important growing market for our business and currently contributes around 34 per cent to our company sales," Khanna said. "We are optimistic about continuing growth trends from this region".
The company plans to set up 20 new warehouses in south India by 2010, the official said.
