Raje raised the issue of environmental clearance made mandatory for all mining areas by the National Green Tribunal and told the minister that this has created a closer like situation for 33,000 mines in the state and sought his intervention.
Raje was presented a detailed report of mining sector of Rajasthan by the mines ministry.
The minister assured full cooperation by his ministry to the state on concerning matters.
The state mines minister Raj Kumar Rinwa, secretary of the mines ministry Balvinder Kumar and other officials were present during the meeting.
