Three coal blocks to be reallocated to NTPC: Sri Prakash Jaiswal

Sri Prakash Jaiswal today said the government would reallocate three coal blocks of NTPC to the state-run power utility within a month.

NEW DELHI: Coal Minister Sri Prakash Jaiswal today said the government would reallocate three coal blocks of NTPC to the state-run power utility within a month.

"Three coals blocks of NTPC would be reallocated to the company within a month," Jaiswal said after meeting with Power Minister Veerappa Moily.

Out of the five coal blocks of NTPC which were taken back by the coal ministry, three of them Chatti Bariatu (2), Kerandari would be reallocated to the company.
