HYDERABAD: A 10-member team of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) came second in the competition held on rescue operations in China recently.
SCCL, the only company from India to take part in the two day rescue competitions held in Pingdingshan, China on September 15 and 16, won the prize in First Aid event of the Competitions, an official release said here on Monday.
SSCL stood fifth in the stimulated mine rescue competition. Teams from Australia, Russia, USA and China also participated in the competition, it said.
The awards were presented by President of Pingdingshan Coal Group Chen Jiansheng, the release added.
