NMDC produces 8.52 MT iron ore in April-June

The company produced 5.51 MT iron ore from its mines in Chhattisgarh and 3.01 MT from mines in Karnataka during the period, NMDC said in a filing to BSE.

NEW DELHI: India's largest iron ore miner NMDC today said it produced 8.52 million tonne ore in the April-June quarter.

The company produced 5.51 MT iron ore from its mines in Chhattisgarh and 3.01 MT from mines in Karnataka during the period, NMDC said in a filing to BSE.

It further said that it sold 9.21 MT iron ore in the April-June period. Production and sales figures of iron ore are provisional.

Shares of the company today ended up 0.21 per cent at Rs 119.70 apiece on BSE.
