NALCO gets FIEO Eastern Region Export Excellence Gold Trophy

BHUBANESWAR: Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has bagged the Eastern Region Export Excellence Gold Trophy from the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) for 2012-13.

The prestigious trophy has been awarded to the aluminium giant in the Premier Trading House - non-MSME category, a NALCO release said here today.

On behalf of NALCO, G A Lyndem, AGM (Marketing), Regional Officer (ER), Kolkata received the award from Amit Mitra, West Bengal finance minister during the Eastern Region Export Excellence Awards ceremony organised by FIEO at Kolkata, it said.

It may be mentioned that FIEO has instituted the series of Eastern Region Export Excellence Awards to encourage and motivate exporters from the eastern region of the country, the release added.
