Mixed trend in metal prices

Prices of tin and aluminium moved up moderately in an otherwise mixed trend on the non-ferrous metal market here today on good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).


MUMBAI: Prices of tin and aluminium moved up moderately in an otherwise mixed trend on the non-ferrous metal market here today on good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).

Copper and brass, however, eased on lack of industrial support.

Tin rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 775 from Saturday's close of Rs 770 and aluminium utensils scrap also looked up to Rs 111 per kilo from Rs 110.

However, copper armiture, copper utensils scrap, copper sheets cutting and brass sheets cutting eased by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 346, Rs 314, Rs 341 and Rs 270 respectively.
