Mechel Somani Starts Vishakhapatnam Operations

NEW DELHI: Mechel Somani Carbon Private Limited, a joint venture between Russia's Mechel Carbon and the Somani Group, has commenced operations of screening Coal at Vishakhapatnam.

The screening facility is a step towards building a modern technical terminal as per exact size requirements of various consumer segments. The facility has capacity to screen 800000 MT/pa of Coal and is targeted at consumers who require exact size of industrial inputs to improve their productivity and reduce wastage. Mechel Somani is involved in import & distribution of Metallurgical Coals to the Indian market.
