IBM to hold seminar on scientific mining on Jul 15
Indian Bureau of Mines will hold a one-day seminar on 'Scientific and Sustainable Mining' on July 15 at Goa aimed at reflecting innovative measures taken by the mining industry, IBM Controller General, C P Ambesh said on Wednesday.

NAGPUR: Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) will hold a one-day seminar on ‘Scientific and Sustainable Mining' on July 15 at Goa aimed at reflecting innovative measures taken by the mining industry, IBM Controller General, C P Ambesh said on Wednesday.
Industry experts, planners and researchers all over the country will be attending the seminar to discuss on identifying the key thrust areas and indicate solutions to reshape the mining industry to meet the future challenges, he said.
Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will inaugurate the seminar while Goa chief minister Pratap Singh Rane will preside over the function, he added.
