Hindustan Copper Limited signs MoU Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), the country's largest integrated copper producer under mines ministry, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited ( MIDHANI), a central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence for a joint collaboration in the production of Copper-Nickel tubes and related items.

A statement issued by the state owned copper major on Monday said the move will promote ' Make in India' initiative and create significant business synergy for HCL and MIDHANI.

The MoU was signed at HCL's corporate office in Kolkata, on July 22, 2017. The MoU was signed by KD Diwan, CMD, HCL, and Dr D.K Likhi, CMD, MIDHANI, in presence of senior officers of HCL and MIDHANI.
