CHANDIGARH: Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Gupta has directed the police and mining department authorities to intensify patrolling to prevent illegal mining in the district.
Directing the police and mining department to conduct joint patrols he asked the DCPs to assign more vehicles for the purpose, an official spokesman said here.
Gupta gave these directions during a meeting to review the illegal mining in the district.
