The Delhi High Court on Wednesday rejected Vedanta Ltd.'s plea challenging the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas's decision to refuse an extension of the production sharing contract (PSC) for the CB-OS/2 block on India's western coast.

Vedanta had sought relief against the ministry's refusal to extend the production sharing contract for the offshore block. The court dismissed the company's petition.
