CII mining panel to visit Australia from Sep 2

With a view to explore business opportunities Australia's mining sector and identify emerging technologies along with possible areas of cooperation, a CII delegation is visiting the Kangaroo nation from September 2.

NEW DELHI: With a view to explore business opportunities Australia's mining sector and identify emerging technologies along with possible areas of cooperation, a CII delegation is visiting the Kangaroo nation from September 2.
One week long visit of 44-member CII mining mission is coinciding with AIMEX 2007, the largest International Mining Exhibition at Sydney to showcase the latest technology, innovative products and technical solutions for the mining sector.
The delegation would promote Indian mining and equipment industry in Australia, interact with the concerned government officials for cooperation in the sector and visit leading mines in Australia.
Indian mining mission organised in collaboration with the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) would be led by Coal India Chairman Partha S Bhattacharyya and representatives from Essel Mining, Tata Steel, Essar Power, BEML, Abhijeet Group, Hindustan Copper, Bhilai Engg, Gujarat NRE Coke, Emami Group, SREI, GMMCO and Balaji Coke.
