Welspun-Gujarat bags Rs 1,075-cr order
Metal pipe manufacturer Welspun-Gujarat Stahl Rohren on Monday said it has bagged a Rs 1,075-crore order for the supply of pipes in Northern Africa.

MUMBAI: Metal pipe manufacturer Welspun-Gujarat Stahl Rohren on Monday said it has bagged a Rs 1,075-crore order for the supply of pipes in Northern Africa.
The firm's new pipeline order has taken its order book position to over Rs 5,900 crore, Welspun informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"Welspun's accreditation's from oil and gas firms across the world results in new orders and reinstates our position as one of the largest and premium line pipe company in the world," Welspun Group Vice Chairman and Managing Director B K Goenka said.
Shares of the firm were trading at Rs 294.95, down 7.51 per cent in afternoon trade on the BSE.
