Welspun Corp bags orders worth Rs 1,182 crore

NEW DELHI: Pipe maker Welspun Corp today said it has received orders worth Rs 1,182 crore mainly from international clients.

"These new orders are likely to be executed over a period of one year," the company said in a statement.

With the addition of these orders, the current order book of the company stands at Rs 6,153 crore, it said.

"There is a positive pricing environment for oil and gas. We are visualising a good traction and signs of improved demand," said B K Goenka, Chairman, Welspun Corp.

Currently, the company has nearly two million tonnes per annum pipe making capacity.
