Vikram Solar supplies solar power equipments to Germany

Vikram Solar is part of the 35 year old Vikram Group of companies engaged in engineering and manufacturing activities.

NEW DELHI: Kolkata based photovoltaic (PV) solar modules maker Vikram Solar has entered into a tie up with GermanPV of Germany to supply modules required for 2.45 mw of grid-connected solar park. Vikram Solar’s complete set of solar (PV) modules will generate enough power to sustain the demand of 1000 households.

GermanPV director for procurement Tobias Sommer said: “The direct line to decision makers in Europe as well as in India has helped to realise this project on a very tight construction schedule. The value for money is currently one of the best in the market and their products have been accepted by all major German Banks in the PV sector.”

Vikram Solar is part of the 35 year old Vikram Group of companies engaged in engineering and manufacturing activities. Its 40,000 sq ft facility at Falta special economic zone has a 150 mw installed production capacity. Vikram Solar has a global presence with offices in Europe and Africa.

“We are extremely encouraged to service European markets. We aim at providing best of the class services to GermanPV and to keep up to their expectations,” Vikram Solar MD Gyanesh Chaudhary said in a media statement issued by his company.

The solar park is located at Osterburg in the district of Stendal, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
