V-Guard targets Rs 315 crore turnover
Leading electrical solutions provider V-Guard Industries is expecting a turnover of Rs 315 crore in the current fiscal recording a 15 % growth over the previous year.
The company was expecting a 30 % growth but general slowdown and price fall of metals have hit the bottomline restricting the growth, V-Guard managing director Kochouseph Chittilappilly said. `` The growth is more from tier 2 and 3 cities than metros,������ he said.
With two new cable factories set up at a cost of Rs 45 crore beginning operations at Coimbatore and Uttaranchal, the company is expecting a turnover over Rs 400 crore in the next year. Over the next two years the company is planning to capture a significant share in the power cable sector in the country, he said.
