Torrent Electricals launches switchgear portfolio

Torrent Electricals, part of the Torrent Group, on Friday announced the launch of its switchgear portfolio expanding in the fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) segment.

Torrent Electricals’ switchgear range comprises Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs), Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCBs), isolators and distribution boards. The portfolio has been developed to cater to residential, commercial and industrial applications, with a strong emphasis on operational safety and consistent performance.

“The launch reflects our unified approach towards building a strong, safety-led presence in electrical products, backed by focused investments in research and innovation,” said Varun Mehta, Director, Torrent Group.


Torrent Electricals also announced the establishment of a state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in Ahmedabad to support product development, testing and future innovation.
