Spanco bags power distribution contract from Maha State Elecricity

The company would be the distribution franchisee for the next 15 years and anticipates an annual revenue growth of 10 per cent.

NEW DELHI: Technology infrastructure provider Spanco Ltd on Wednesday bagged the Rs 7,000-crore power distribution contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd.

"Spanco has bagged the Rs 7,000-crore power distribution franchisee bid for the Urban Circle in Nagpur city," a company statement said.

Spanco's role in the contract would be to provide efficient power, bring down distribution losses, increase overall efficiency of power distribution and provide high level of consumer satisfaction to its consumers.

The company would be the distribution franchisee for the next 15 years and anticipates an annual revenue growth of 10 per cent.
