Shriram EPC enters JV with Belgian co Hamon
The Chennai-based Shriram EPC has entered into a joint venture with Belgium's Hamon Group to tap the fast-growing wet cooling and air pollution control market in India, estimated to be in the Rs 1,400 crore to Rs 2,000 crore range.
CHENNAI: The Chennai-based Shriram EPC has entered into a joint venture with Belgium's Hamon Group to tap the fast-growing wet cooling and air pollution control market in India, estimated to be in the Rs 1,400 crore to Rs 2,000 crore range.
Both partners, collaborating in the wet cooling market through a joint operation agreement since 2005, are said to have booked new orders amounting to Rs 50 crore in 2006.
Hamon Shriram Cottrell, the joint venture, would also cover air pollution control systems, through a license agreement for using the Hamon Research Cottrell technologies, according to a company release here.
