Rinac India bags Rs 16.42 cr project

Engineering solutions company Rinac India has bagged a Rs 16.42 crore project from Integrated Food Park private company, part of the Future Group.

CHENNAI: Engineering solutions company Rinac India has bagged a Rs 16.42 crore project from Integrated Food Park private company, part of the Future Group, for setting up a food park facility in Karnataka.

The food park to come up in Tumkur district would comprise storage facility for fruits and vegetables. Besides, it would have pre-cooling chambers, cold rooms, ripening chambers and a processing area, a company statement said.

The project, which is scheduled to be completed in eight months, is being taken up under the Food Park scheme by Ministry of Food Processing Industries, it said.

RINAC reported revenues of Rs 121 crore in 2011-12.It has set a target of reaching Rs 500 crore by 2015-16.The company has two manufacturing facilities, 70 dealers and employs about 300 persons, the statement added.
