Normalcy in operations to be restored soon: Crompton Greaves

The company had earlier announced that it has halted operations at its manufacturing unit at Mandideep in Madhya Pradesh after it was hit by heavy rains.

DELHI: Crompton Greaves today said majority of its facilities are functional and the normalcy in operations is likely to be restored very shortly.

The company had earlier announced that it has halted operations at its manufacturing unit at Mandideep in Madhya Pradesh after it was hit by heavy rains.

"The water logging inside the factory premises located at Mandideep that affected the company's manufacturing facilities and also lead to temporary suspension of its operations... post completion of the assessment carried out by the Insurer, the claims made by the company towards the damages to the plant and machinery and also the loss of production has been accepted by the insurer," the company said in a BSE filing

"Majority of the facilities are currently functional and the Management expects to restore normalcy in operations very shortly," it said.
