Nagarjuna Const bags Rs 424 cr orders
Nagarjuna Construction has bagged three new orders valued at Rs 424 crore.
The second order is from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority for construction of flyovers on Babasaheb Ambedkar Marg valued at Rs 112 crore will be execute in 18 months. The last order valued at Rs 46 crore is received from the Volkswagen India, Pune, for construction of body shop hall to be finished in 12 months.
Nagarjuna Construction posted a turnover of Rs 112.73 crore and net profit of Rs 4.11 crore for the third quarter ended Dec 31, 2007 against a turnover of Rs 111.9 crore and a profit of Rs 3.02 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the nine months Apr-Dec, the company reported a turnover of Rs 330.03 crore and net profit of Rs 12.18 crore. At 10:53 am, Nagarjuna Construction shares were down 0.98 per cent at Rs 248 on BSE.
