MUMBAI: Mahindra Defence Systems has entered into a strategic alliance with Whitehead Alenia Sistemi Subacquei of Italy to utilise the industrial and operational capabilities of Mahindra & Mahindra. A division of the Mahindra group, Mahindra Defence Systems is a leading provider of high mobility and light bullet proof vehicles to the armed forces. Alenia Sistemi is the maritime underwater systems subsidiary of Finmeccanica Group, which has a long association with the Indian armed forces in supplying lightweight torpedoes, submarine fired decoys.
