Mediscan tie up with i2i TeleSolutions

CHENNAI: Leading referral diagnostic ultrasound centre MediScan Systems on Thursday announced a tieup with Bangalore based i2i TeleSolutions, a leading telemedicine software service provider, to provide a communication platform to link sonography and experts from around the globe.

"Experts from across the globe can now especially monitor pregnancy, review and report on fetal health remotely through the internet or the mobile network", i2i TeleSolutions Senior Vice President Arindam Sen told reporters here.

Explaining the configuration system, he said ultrasound images could be transmitted through computer by specialised software to an expert, who can receive data and images by using his iPhone or an iPad.

"Providing especially pregnant mothers early access to fetal healthcare specialists without the constraint of geography is the primary goal of this telesonography platform", MediScan Systems Managing Director S Suresh said.
