McNally Bharat Engineering bags Rs 216 crore order

NEW DELHI: McNally Bharat Engineering Company on Wednesday said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 216 crore for engineering, design and commissioning of a ash handling system and water circulation package.

"We have received an EPC order for Design, Engineering, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of an ash handling system and ash water recirculation package," McNally Bharat Engineering said in a filing to BSE.

It, however, did not disclose the identity from which it has bagged the order.

McNally Bharat Engineering, a leading engineering firms in the country, is engaged in providing turnkey solutions in the areas of power, steel, aluminium, coal washing, among others.

On Monday, the company had said that it has bagged orders worth Rs 156.6 crore for civil construction work for a cement plant.

The shares of the company were trading at Rs 46.65 a piece on BSE in the afternoon trade, up 1.63 per cent from the previous close.
