Mazda bags order from PI Industries

Automated valve and air-pollution control equipment manufacturer, Mazda Ltd has bagged a Rs 2.37 crore order from PI Industries for a triple-effect forced circulating evaporator plant.

MUMBAI: Automated valve and air-pollution control equipment manufacturer, Mazda Ltd has bagged a Rs 2.37 crore order from PI Industries for a triple-effect forced circulating evaporator plant.
The latest plant, a zero-liquid discharge facility for effluent volume reduction, is going to be one of the many installations to Mazda's credit in the last few years, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
PI Industries is involved in the business of fine chemicals, crop protection chemicals, thermo plastic polyurethanes and polymer compounding.
According to Mazda, the growth potential is sound and it expects a major increase in sales for this product in the current year keeping in mind the scope for pollution control equipment.
The Ahmedabad-based company is involved in equity participation and technical collaboration with vacuum systems and air pollution control equipment market leaders like US-based Croll-Reynolds Inc.
Shares of Mazda were down 2.37 per cent at Rs 179 on the BSE.
