L&T bags Rs 74.7 cr contract from ONGC for SCADA systems
Larsen & Toubro has bagged a contract valued at Rs 74.7 crore for SCADA system for onshore control centers for offshore operations by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
The project involves setting up state-of-the-art control centres, collaboration rooms for 24x7 hours operation and monitoring, video conferencing with offshore process complexes and drilling rigs, monitoring of rotating equipment data from process platforms, integration with various third party system like SCADA (production, drilling, lift optimization and ESP data), VRC (sub-surface data), VATMS (logistic data), IAM (integrated asset management), monitoring status feedback of critical shutdown valves on process platforms and running status of all critical rotating equipment.
ONGC is a major in upstream oil and gas exploration and production and is involved in hydrocarbon exploration in both onshore and offshore fields.
