L&T bags Rs 723-cr order from Petrobras
Engineering firm Larsen & Toubro said on Wednesday that it has bagged a $160 million (about Rs 723 crore) order from Brazilain oil firm Petrobras for supplying equipment for its refinery project in the Latin American country.

MUMBAI: Engineering firm Larsen & Toubro said on Wednesday that it has bagged a $160 million (about Rs 723 crore) order from Brazilain oil firm Petrobras for supplying equipment for its refinery project in the Latin American country.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, L&T said it would manufacture and supply of hydro-treating reactors and coke drums for Petrobas' refinery project in Brazil.
The reactors would be delivered to the refinery in Brazil in the financial year 2010-11. Further, anticipating the growing demand of hydro-carbon, L&T has expanded its manufacturing facility at Hazira, while its fabrication facility in Oman is under construction.
Shares of L&T closed at Rs 2,714.65, down 0.80 per cent on the BSE.
