L&T bags orders worth Rs 2,213 crore from various business verticals

The company said in a BSE filing that it has won "new orders worth Rs 1,078 crore from National Highway Authority of India.

NEW DELHI: Engineering major Larsen and Toubro today said its construction arm has bagged orders worth Rs 2,213 crore across various business verticals.

The company said in a BSE filing that it has won "new orders worth Rs 1,078 crore from National Highway Authority of India ( NHAI) for construction of Kerala/Tamil Nadu-Villikuri- Kanyakumari sections of NH-47 and NH 47B under NHDP Phase-3 in the state of Tamil Nadu on EPC mode".

The company said its power transmission and distribution business has also "bagged new orders worth Rs 1,001 crore across both international and domestic markets".

L&T has also "secured an engineering, procurement and construction order worth Rs 134 crore from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for the construction of interim government complex buildings.

Shares of L&T were trading at Rs 1,111.25 apiece, up 2.97 per cent, from previous close on BSE.
