Larsen & Toubro says won Rs 1,576 crore construction orders in October

MUMBAI: Engineering major Larsen & Toubro said Wednesday that its construction division has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,576 crore in October.

The orders include jobs from power transmission and distribution business totalling Rs 1,164 crore. It bagged one order from the Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited under the R-APDRP scheme and another order from the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd.

The company also bagged engineering, procurement and construction orders for water and renewable energy projects worth Rs 304 crore. This included an order from Jharkhand’s Ranchi Water Supply Scheme under JNNURM.

L&T said it has bagged additional orders worth Rs 108 crores from various ongoing heavy civil infrastructure jobs.
