Larsen & Toubro bags Rs 2,215 crore worth orders in last two months
The company secured orders worth Rs 1,137 crore in the power and transmission business in both domestic and international markets.
"L&T Construction has won orders worth Rs 2,215-crore in various business segments including power transmission & distribution, buildings and factories, both in the domestic as well as international markets," the company said in a release.

Major turnkey orders were received from Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam and Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam to improve the power distribution systems in Ghaziabad and Varanasi, respectively, the company said.
The company's overseas subsidiary Larsen & Toubro Oman bagged an order from Oman Electricity Transmission Company for the turnkey construction of a 132/33 kV substation at Izki Phase III. The 400 kV phase is being executed by the subsidiary.
Besides, additional orders were also received from various ongoing jobs of the business, it said.
In the buildings and factories business, L&T secured an international order including add-ons in the domestic market worth Rs 962 crore.
The overseas subsidiary also won a repeat order worth Rs 732 crore in the buildings and factories business for the construction of a commercial project and its site-wide infrastructure in Oman.
In addition to these, it also bagged orders worth Rs 116 crore from other businesses of L&T Construction.
