KPIT acquires auto engineering services firm in Germany

PUNE: Product engineering and IT consulting firm KPIT announced that it has completed an agreement to invest in a Germany-headquartered automotive engineering services company.

The company, however, didn't share the transaction details.

Kishor Patil, CEO & MD of KPIT technologies said: “We are very excited about this partnership. Power train is our largest practice within Automotive Engineering and e-mobility is a big focus as well as a growth area. With this partnership, we will be able to enhance and bring in next generation offerings in the key growth area of e-mobility. This further strengthens our leadership position in the automotive engineering domain and bolsters our presence in Germany.”


The German company has over 20 years of engineering expertise in power train systems and drive train electronics.
