Kochi-based Wrench Solutions forays into China

Varghese Daniel, founder/CEO, Wrench Solutions told ET that the company has signed a contract with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation.

KOCHI: The Kochi-based Wrench Solutions, a company that specializes in technology solutions for engineering industry, has made a foray into the Chinese market.

Varghese Daniel, founder/CEO, Wrench Solutions told ET that the company has signed a contract with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC) for providing technology solutions. CPECC is affiliated to China National Petroleum Corporation.

The recession in US and European construction industry has forced engineering companies to look at opportunities outside their region. For companies who have taken up work in unfamiliar territories Wrench Solutions provide a “safety net”, Varghese Daniel pointed out. “We have anticipated these challenges and has in fact solved many of them”, he said.

Software solutions from Wrench Solutions have been adopted by many EPC companies that have prepared plans to expand to new markets. The ‘online control system’ provided by Wrench Solutions has helped companies to cut costs, he pointed out. Wrench Solutions has helped companies to efficiently execute projects outside their ‘home country, he added.

Internationally, Wrench has been adopted by Tetratech WEI, Khatib & Alami, Metito Overseas Ltd, Habtoor Leighton Group etc. In India, companies like BHEL, Lanco Infratech, VSSC etc have adopted Wrench.

Wrench Solutions has for the first time penetrated the Chinese market by enlisting a major client. Mr Varghese Daniel said that even the Chinese are adopting Wrench to face the competition from companies from other parts of the world.
