KEC International bags Rs 1,018-crore orders

Engineering company KEC International on Monday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 1,018 crore, raising its order book to Rs 7,400 crore.

MUMBAI: Engineering company KEC International on Monday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 1,018 crore, raising its order book to Rs 7,400 crore. These orders include three transmission projects, totaling Rs 540 crore, from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam, Power Grid Corporation of India and South Africa's Eskom.

The company has also bagged a Rs 97-crore order from Indian Railways. KEC's cable division has won orders worth . 135 crore.

The company's subsidiary, SAE Towers, has also won orders worth Rs 246 crore, the RPG Enterprises company said. "With these, our total order intake for the quarter reaches approximately Rs 2,400 crore," managing director and chief executive officer Ramesh Chandak said.
