JMC Projects India gets orders worth Rs 702 crore; shares up 14%

JMC Projects (India) has bagged new orders worth Rs 702 crore for engineering, procurement and construction work, the company said Wednesday.

MUMBAI: JMC Projects (India) has bagged new orders worth Rs 702 crore for engineering, procurement and construction work, the company said Wednesday.

Reacting to the news, share of the company gained 13.9 per cent to Rs 226.80 on the Bombay Stock Exchange at 14:00 IST.

The orders include, Bhagalpur Water Supply projects worth Rs 199 crore, Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project worth Rs 181 crore, two building projects in Bangalore worth Rs 170 crore, and a job worth Rs 152 crore for building for Central University of Bihar at Gaya.

"We are successfully receiving orders across our business verticals and have been expanding our presence in infrastructure sector especially in water related projects," S. K. Tripathi, chief executive officer and deputy managing director of the company said.

JMC Projects, a subsidiary of Kalpataru Power Transmission, is engaged in civil and engineering work for highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, townships, high-rise buildings, hospitals, industrial units, power plants among others.
