Jindal Drilling bags Rs 810-cr order from ONGC

Jindal Drilling & Industries today said it has bagged a USD 165-million order(about Rs 810 crore) for leasing its rig to state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

MUMBAI: Jindal Drilling & Industries today said it has bagged a USD 165-million order(about Rs 810 crore) for leasing its rig to state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the drilling firm said it has deployed a jack-up rig for ONGC in the west coast offshore.

The rig has been contracted for three years and the contract is effective from October 15. Shares of Jindal Drilling & Industries were trading at Rs 895, down 2.76 per cent on the BSE.
