JCB India enters hand and power tools segment

NEW DELHI: Leading construction equipment manufacturer, JCB India Ltd today said it has now forayed into hand and power tools segment.

"JCB has entered into an agreement with leading hand and power tools manufacturers - Groz Pvt Ltd and Master Alloys Ltd respectively to manufacture, source and distribute JCB branded tools," the company said in a statement.

It said that the entry into this segment was a part of brand extension.

The range of power tools of the company include angle grinder, circular saw, planer, marble cutter, electrical drill and rotary hammer.

"The hand tools range includes storage solutions, speciality tool sets, cutting and pipe tools, measuring and layout tools, striking & finishing and general tools for Automotive and Industrial applications," it said.

JCB India's manufacturing facilities are there in Ballabgarh and Pune.
