Infrastructure company IVRCL bags orders worth Rs 378 crore

The contracts have been awarded to the company's water division and Transport Division, IVRCL said in a statement.

HYDERABAD: City-based infrastructure company IVRCL today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 378.36 crore spread over three states.

The contracts have been awarded to the company's water division (Rs 360.75 crore) and Transport Division (Rs 17.61 crore), IVRCL said in a statement here.

The works include a Rs 205.86-crore pipeline project from Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board which would be completed in 14 months, it said.

The other two projects of the Water Division are from Bihar. They are - a water system project from a subsidiary of NTPC and a multi-village water supply system awarded by Bihar Public Health Engineering Department.

The Transportation Division is to construct a two-lane road to Indore airport from Pithampur (distance around 25km) in Madhya Pradesh, the release added.

The IVRCL scrip was quoted at Rs 35.20, up 6.67 per cent, on the Bombay Stock Exchange in afternoon trade.
